SINGING AND SWEARING
on view beginning June 2
opening reception, First Friday, June 6, 5-7pm
What a blessing it is to be able to sort out and understand one’s life by making art. Now more than ever.
Playing with shapes and colors and puzzling out what speaks to me and maybe someone else about connection and what we share as humans gives me meaning and purpose.
Color is the driving force and juxtaposing one with the other to sing or swear or just get along is endlessly interesting.
Creating abstract shapes that bump or blend in a somewhat anthropomorphic fashion adds to the fun.
